This Privacy Policy describes how JwApp, the operator of JwNotebook.org (the "Site"), collects, uses and protects users' personal data.

1. Data controller

The data controller is JwApp, operator of JwNotebook.org. For any request about your data you can write to privacy@jwnotebook.org.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following data: • Data you provide when registering and using the Site: email address, password (stored in hashed form), optional name or nickname, preferences, and the content and configuration of the notebooks you generate. • Browsing data collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics, measurement ID G-Q98CTKQY81): pages visited, time on page, device, operating system, browser, language, approximate geographic location and referrer.

3. Purposes of processing

The data we collect is processed for the following purposes: • Providing the service (account, notebook generation and download, preferences). • Aggregated statistical analysis and improvement of the experience through Google Analytics. • Sending informational and marketing communications, such as newsletters, news about published content, service updates and commercial offers.

4. Legal basis and consent

By signing up the user declares to have read and accepted this Privacy Policy and expressly consents to the processing of their data for the purposes indicated above, including marketing communications. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by requesting account deletion.

5. Cookies and Google Analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics to collect aggregated statistical information about Site usage. Google Analytics may install technical and profiling cookies on the user's device. 6. Data retention

Personal data is kept for the entire duration of the account and for the period thereafter required to comply with legal, accounting or tax obligations. The user can request account and data deletion at any time.

7. Data sharing and transfer

Data may be processed by third-party providers that supply technical services to the Site (hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, email delivery). Some of these providers, including Google, may also process data outside the European Union, in compliance with applicable safeguards.

8. User rights

Under the GDPR, users have the right to access their data, request rectification or deletion, object to processing, restrict it or request portability. To exercise these rights write to privacy@jwnotebook.org.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

JwApp reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, with notice published on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of them.
